TRB will conduct a webinar on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM ET that will discuss how transportation planners can adapt to the changes in natural systems. Coastal states are suffering increased rates of flooding from gradual changes in sea level and extreme storms. State departments of transportation and local infrastructure agencies often struggle to keep up with these increased rates of flooding. Presenters will discuss the latest projections of sea level rise and the changing understanding about tracking and predicting sea level rise impacts. This webinar was organized by the TRB Standing Committee on Ecology and Transportation.
