Emiliano Ruiz, M.S. student at The University of Texas at El Paso, received a U.S. Department of Transportation University Transportation Center Student-of-the-Year award and was recognized at the 2021 CUTC Annual Awards Banquet on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. His thesis is titled “Assessing the Impacts of Health Benefits and Carbon Footprint in Student Parking Decisions at a University Campus” and his advisor is Professor Ruey Long (Kelvin) Cheu.
